It is often said that to a Viking the true purpose of a life is to die with honour in battle. In dying with honour and glory the warrior will have given his all to send a multitude of his enemies to their bloody deaths before him.

On the noisy battlefield the circling crows above signal from afar the killing beneath them. When the killing is done there is silence as they pick away and take their fill of the meat of the fallen corpses left behind.

And when our fearless warriors finally die with honour, they can enter the vast halls of Valhalla to drink mead from horned cups, in the company of Odin himself.
